Periodontics and gum treatment in Saquarema

Your gums say a lot about the health of your mouth.

Periodontal treatment at CROE

What is periodontics?

Periodontics looks after the gums and the structures that support the teeth. Gum diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis are the leading cause of tooth loss.

At CROE, a periodontal clean is more detailed, deeper and more thorough: as well as removing plaque and tartar, we assess the health of your gums tooth by tooth.

When treated early, gum disease can usually be controlled with simple treatment and follow-up.

Frequently asked questions

Can’t find your question? Talk to our team on WhatsApp.

Are bleeding gums normal?
No. Bleeding is one of the first signs of gum inflammation and should be assessed.
How is it different from a regular clean?
A periodontal clean includes a detailed assessment of your gums and removes tartar below the gum line too, where brushing cannot reach.
Can periodontitis be treated?
Yes. Treatment controls the disease and stops it progressing. Regular follow-up is an important part of the result.
Do you accept dental insurance plans?
CROE does not work with dental insurance plans. Treatment is private, paid by credit card or upfront. At your consultation, you will see the full plan for your case before you decide.
